‘I Think I Kill Pleasure’
Recorded live at the Rubin Museum of Art on Dec 22, 2012, philosopher Simon Critchley met up with Philip Seymour Hoffman for the final evening in a series of on-stage conversations called Happy Talk. In a searching dialogue, that in hindsight seems prescient, the actor wrestles with the concepts of happiness, love, and death with the same courage and compelling insight that he brought to his roles. Watch above: a part of Hoffman’s conversation recorded live, visualized with animation. Watch full interview here. For more Blank on Blank (Vintage) interviews go here.
