Affluenza.

I ran into this rare 1997 PBS film called Affluenza. Produced and written by John de Graaf. This film diagnoses a serious social diseases. These diseases are caused by consumerism, commercialism and rampant materialism. This is having a devastating impact on our families, communities, and the environment. We have more stuff, but less time, and our quality of life seems to be deteriorating. The film uses brilliant personal stories, expert commentary, hilarious old film clips, and “uncommercial” breaks to illuminate the nature and extent of the disease. A-One-to-Watch!
