In May 2013, the ’Timothy Leary of the Viral Video Age’ – futurist and self-proclaimed “wonder junkie" Jason Silva (TheAtlantic) (CBS) (Turning into gods), a Venezuelan-American performance philosopher, started a YouTube channel (184.073 subscribers – more than 9 million views) under the TestTube Network called "Shots of Awe”. Every week Silva uploads a short inspirational video (around 180 seconds), that explores some interesting topics about human condition, nature of creativity, life, philosophy, it’s evolution, and our technology focused society. Silva is somehow capable of leaving you with wonder, this probably because of his scripted/non scripted – ‘intelligent savvy fast talk’. Nevertheless he simply invigorates you and makes you think different about certain topics. And see the world with fresh new eyes.
