With some deserved Cannes Lions 2012 Grand Prix’s for The Bear from MJZ’s Matthijs van Heijningen – Espen Horn explains why!, BBH’s Axe, Nike’s FuelBand Titanium, Chipotle’s and Gold Lions for Best Job from Mexican Director Alejandro González Iñárritu, Day One, DirectTV’s (1-6) , Dips Desperado, Rainbow, I am Mumbai and Guardian’s Three Little Pigs it was an exciting but not a strong year in Film. Only 70 Film Lions where awarded this year against a 100 normally in ‘The land of Brands’.
