When in 2008, a Norwegian friend of mine who operates in global Oil deals personally, gave me John Perkins, runaway bestseller book: Confessions of an Economic Hit Man (2004), I indeed started thinking of whom where these ‘real people’ involved behind the World Bank, IMF loans (Bechtel), (Halliburton), (Stone & Webster) and (KBR), global oil deals (Seven Sisters) (Al Jazeera) (Bechtel) weapon deals (SIPRI) (TAX dollars at war) and illegal wildlife trade deals (Traffic), I knew they had to be trained or come from somewhere. The book deals with Perkins’ personal career at the consulting firm Chas. T. Main in Boston. Perkins also got interviewed for a job with the National Security Agency (NSA). Perkins claims in the book that he actually became a member of the firm (and alleged NSA liaison) to truly become a self-described “economic hit man.” Have a look at the brilliantly, by studiojoho made 2min video.
