SXSW 2012. 

The Jury and Audience Award winners of the 2012 South by Southwest Film Conference and Festival (SXSW) have been announced last night. Winning the coveted grand jury award in the narrative feature competition is Adam Leon’s “Gimme the Loot”, while first time director Jay Bulger’s “Beware of Mr. Baker” bagged the same prize in the documentary feature competition. “Beware of Mr. Baker” gives you an affectionate but unfawning portrait of Cream‘s legendary drummer Ginger Baker. “Gimme the Loot" stars newcomers Tashiana Washington, Ty Hickson, Meeko, Zoe Lescaze, Sam Soghor and is about two determined Bronx teens who "must hustle, steal, and scheme” and try their hardest to become the “biggest writers in the City.” Click here for full list of winners.
