When Lynch Met Lucas. 

Marvelously 2010 Animated short using audio of Film Director David Lynch telling the story of when he met George Lucas about possibly directing Return of The Jedi. David Lynch and David Cronenberg (article) were considered to direct the Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi before Eye of the Needle’s Director Richard Marquand signed on as director. He went on to explain his bizarre meeting with George Lucas and the giant headache he got when George introduced him to Wookiees…hahahah!! Brilliant…. Shot entirely with the iPhone 3G using the iMotion app. The short was banned from the Internet for a while over a copyright claim, which prompted the filmmaker to respond with another animated short titled “Where’s When Lynch Met Lucas?” Made both by video Artist Sascha Ciezata.
