On May 30, 2014 Jim Carrey gave a brilliant and instant classic Commencement Address speech —-WATCH HERE-—This at the private university Maharishi University of Management, in Fairfield, Iowa. This unique University features Consciousness-Based Education that includes a Transcendental Meditation program and organic vegetarian meals. Jim was being honoured for “his significant lifetime achievements as a world-renown comedian and actor, artist, author and philanthropist,” including starting The Better U Foundation. The Better U Foundation (BUF) addresses global food security by supporting the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) —-VIMEO— SRI is a sustainable agricultural methodology which significantly increases rice productivity, allowing farmers to go to market with their rice and earn a better living for their families.
